The Tullaroan Festival of Races took place last Saturday and it was great to see the Club represented in a number of the events.
In the Ultra Marathon Shane Greene ran a brilliant race when winning in 5 hours 47 mins 15 secs with Club mate Mark Corcoran 2nd in 6 hours 9 mins 12 secs, two brilliant performances.
In the Marathon Dan O Keeffe ran very well when finishing 8th in 3 hours 48 mins 16 secs, great running by Dan.
In the Half Marathon Conor Fleming ran very well when finishing 5th in 89 mins 48 secs with Nicola Maunsell finishing 51st in 116 mins 7secs. We also had good performances from Denise Donnelly who was 72nd in 121 mins 3 secs and Sarah Toomey who was 74th in 121 mins 28 secs.
In the 10k we also had good performances from Jackie Hickey 65th in 67 mins 31 secs and Catherine Ryan 66th in 67 mins 31 secs
