The 10th promotion of the Energia 24 Hour International race took place last weekend in Belfast’s Victoria Park and the Club had three athletes competing over the 1652m flat route. These athletes, Neil Proven, Noel Gillman and Mark Corcoran and their manager Pat O Connor are season campaigners over this route and terrain.
Noel Gilman ran 103 laps in 23 hours 50 mins 3 secs while Neil Proven also completed 103 laps in 23 hours 52 mins 47secs, then we had Mark Corcoran covering 100 miles, in 22 hours 23 mins 46 secs, some running and some achievement.
