The curtain raiser to the Cross-Country season got underway in Kilmacow last week and Clonmel AC had 2 competitors take to the starting line and both performed exceptionally. First up was Fionn Aird in the u10 600m and right from the off Fionn took the lead a lead he never relinquished coming home in first place. Later in the day Emma Murray competed in the Junior ladies and Emma put in a fantastic performance to come home in 3rd place.
This was a great day out and so well organised and will certainly aid in Fionn and Emma preparation for the County Even Cross Country in Newport on Sunday.
