The National Novice Cross Country Championships tool place last Sunday in Conna County Cork. Conditions were demanding and both races were very competitive. In the women’s 4000m race Suzanne making her debut in these Championships ran very well when finishing 57th in 17 mins 31 secs. We also had good performances from Sareen Walsh 76th in 18 mins 14 secs, Jennifer Quinlan 100th in 19 mins 43 secs and Marina Quinlan 104th in 21 mins 12 secs. In the men’s 600m race we also had good performances from Michael McNamara 182nd in 25 mins 38secs and Niall O Ceallaigh 188th in 26 mins 21 secs.
