The County Cross Country Relay championships were held in Thurles on Sunday 3rd November and Clonmel AC had 5 teams competing.
First up were the u10
girls and here our team of Cara Ryan, Caroline Smith, Sarah Whelan and Sarah O
Reilly were convincing winners. Next our u10 boys team of Sam O Donovan, Toby
Hayes, Rory Hennessey and Evan Ryan ran very well to place 5th in a very
competitive field.
Both our u12 boys team of Harry Weymouth,
Darragh Boland, Gavin Ryan and Fintan Kearney and our u12 girls team of Eadaoin Duffy, Alice Meegan, Emer
Brennan and Emma Kiely picked up the Bronze medals.
In the final race of the day the mixed u16 team of
Thomas Smith, Ruby Carroll, Hazel Brennan and Conor Flaherty lead from start to
finish to come home with the gold medals.
