Great performances at County B Cross Country

The Club made the short trip to Dundrum House Hotel for the County Juvenile B Cross Country Championships where conditions were dry and cool. The Club was well represented and we saw some great performances. In the Girls under 9 Erin O Keeffe ran a great race when coming through over the final 100m to win the Silver medal, great running. In the Boys under 9 500m race we had some great performances from Gavin Ryan 9th, Charlie Phillips 10th and Archie O Sullivan and these three athletes combined very well to win the Bronze medals. In the Girls under 11 race Eimear Heafey ran a great race, she was always well positioned and put in a great effort over the closing stages to win the Silver medal. This performance spurred on the rest of her teams mates and they all ran very well with Cara Hennessy 5th, Rachel Buckley 9th, Ciara Collins 13th, Gabrielle Heslop 16th, Siofra O Loughlin 18th and Hazel McCann 21st.
