This year’s event takes place on Sunday 25th August at 10am and we have 1000 athletes registered for the event, so Registration is now closed for this year’s event and we won’t be taking entries on Race Day. This is a fantastic achievement for an event that has grown in stature over the years. In 2010 we had 314 entries and that has grown every year to this year’s total of 1000 entries. Last year’s event also sold out in advance of the event. In the coming week all entrants will receive Race Day Details and we look forward to welcoming athletes from America, England and nearly every county in Ireland to our Classic event on August 25th. Organising such an event requires plenty of help and we are asking Club members who are not competing to give us a helping hand either on Saturday or Sunday for a few hours, contact any of the committee members.
