The Moycarkey Coolcroo AC series of races took place last weekend. In the 10k Alan Carter ran well when finishing 6th in 41 mins 8 secs, Aine Roche ran very well when winning the women’s race in 42 mins 36 secs. We also had good running from Noel Howley 52:54 and Eamonn Crowley in 62:46. In the 5k Ali O Connor ran very well when finishing 4th in 21 mins 46 sec. looking at these results congrats to Linda O Connor a former Club member and Ali’s sister finishing 2nd in 19 mins 56 secs. Linda won the County Novice Cross Country in Ballynonty and the County Intermediate title at the Turnpike in 2006, so she has fond memories of competing in that area.
