Sean Tobin got his 2020 season off to a flying start with a very good win at the Box Hill Classic Track and Field Meet. Sean went off at a steady pace, staying midway in the field as the race progressed over the early laps. The leaders went through the 1st km in 2 mins 44 secs. Then with three laps to go Sean moved to the front and gradually increased the pace, going through 2K in 5 mins 22 secs. He reached the bell in 6 mins 55 secs and he was well clear of the rest of the field. He kept the fast pace going in what was 35 degrees temperatures to win in a brilliant time of 7 mins 59 secs.
