The Munster Uneven Age Cross County Championship took place in 2 Mile Borris on Sunday 11th November and it was great to see such a large entry from Clonmel Juveniles.
We had individual medal winners in Cian Flaherty who finished in 12th place and Siobhan Whelan who finished in 6th place. Both putting in a fantastic performance and both also received Silver County medals for Tipperary. Other Provincial County medal winners were Eavann Duffy Bronze u11 girls and Roise Flaherty u17 girls. Our club under 19 team of Evan Fitzgerald, Colm McCarthy, Riain Patterson and Lorcan O Keeffe combined to take the Bronze club medals.
As well as medal winners we had some great running from Sarah Whelan u9 girls, Harry Walsh u9 boys, Harry Weymouth u11 boys, Rachel Buckley and Eimear Heafey u13 girls, Connor and Cathal O’ Gorman, Matthew Buckley, Matthew Downey Sean Mullins u13 boys, Ruby Carroll, Jane O Donnell, Celine Durand Muireann Duffy, Ellen Houze and Laura Cooney u15 girls, Connor Flaherty and Thomas Smith u15 boys and Bird Moynihan u17 girls.
In total Clonmel A.C. received 8 Provincial medals. Thanks to all the parents and coaches that help out on the day with special thanks to Neil Proven who came early and had the club tent assembled.
