This popular race took place in good conditions last Sunday and some of our members used it as a starting back to training after the Dublin City marathon and it was great to see some great performances. Angela McCann showed that she recovered well from her great DCM performance with another great performance over this demanding 10 mile route when winning the women’s race very convincingly in 61 mins 51 secs when finishing 7th overall, brilliant. We also saw great running from Alan O Shea 70th in 74 mins 15 secs, Nicola Maunsell 2nd over 45 in 75 mins 14 secs, Sarah Whelan 89th in 76 mins 41 secs, Kenny Brett 101st in 78 mins 36 secs, Eddie Prendergast 131st in 82 mins 54 secs, Sinead Kennedy 148th in 84 mins 50 secs and John Laste 222nd in 96 mins 22 secs.
