Great performances at St Senan’s Cross Country event

Kilmacow was the venue last Sunday for their very popular Cross-Country fixture, an opportunity for athletes to get a taste of cross country over a good course. It was great to see some of our members take advantage of this local fixture as they prepare for the busy Cross-Country season that gets underway in earnest next Sunday. The County Juvenile Even age groups, under 10, 12, 14, 16, 18 races takes place next Sunday at 12 noon at the Turnpike and if the very large attendance at the various Club training sessions over the past couple of weeks are anything to go by, then the Club should be very well represented next Sunday, great to see.

Back to the action and Kilmacow, here we had great performances by Erin O Keeffe in the girls u12, Jamie Whelan in the girls u14, Conor Flaherty in the boys u16 and Roise Flaherty in the girls u16. In the boys u14 the team of Conor O Gorman, Cian Flaherty, Cathal O Gorman and Matthew Buckley combined to take the Bronze medals.
