The curtain came down on a very successful season at Juvenile level with the All Ireland Juvenile Track and Field Championships. Clonmel had 2 athletes competing. Both Siobhan Whelan in the girls u17 1500m and Colm McCarthy in the boys u19 1500m ran exceptionally well to post times of 5.10 and 4.28 respectively. Both amazing times considering the very warm conditions.
As this was the concluding event of the Track and Field season Clonmel AC would like to thank all its juveniles that participated throughout the season they wore the Clonmel colours with pride and distinction. It has been a great season with success at all levels. Training resumes for the Cross-County season in September.
