The Walls of Fethard 4 Mile took place last Thursday night in wet but mild conditions and it was great to see some great running from Club members. Angela McCann underlined her recent good form when winning the women’s race very convincingly in 22 mins 59 secs. We also had good performances from Niall O Ceallaigh 15th in 24:08, Ali O Connor who was 2nd female home in 24:21, Suzanne Shine made it a Clonmel AC 1-2-3 in the women’s prizes when finishing 3rd in 25:00 with Ann Marie Boland 24th in 25:38 and Edel Roche 25th in 25:48. Other good performances included Aisling English 29th in 26:34, Kenny Brett 32nd in 26:46, Victor Direen 38th in 27:51, Tommy Cahill 40th in 28:24, Noel Howley 46th in 30:53, Sarah Toomey 49th in 32:08, Helen O Ceallaigh 50th in 32:13, Cathy Mansfield 52nd in 34:03 and it was great to see Jo Brett back running again after a lengthy lay off due to injury and she too ran well when finishing 53rd in 34:03, William Lonergan 55th in 34:03 and Eamonn Crowley 57th in 36:03.
