David Ryan 2nd in the Brendan Kinane 5K

The Brendan Kinane 5K took place last night and it was great to see the Club very well represented at this event as Brendan Kinane was always a great supporter of our events as indeed is his Club, Dundrum AC. David Ryan ran a great race when finishing 2nd in 16 mins 3 secs following on from his win last week in Cahir, it is great to see David running so well. Then we had John Walsh also running well when winning the over 50 award in 18:32 when finishing 22nd overall. We also had good performances from Niall O Ceallaigh 48th in 19:22, James Denn 49th in 19:31, Aine Roche also ran very well when finishing 3rd woman in 19:33, Kealey Tideswell 56th in 19:50, Brendan Walshe 61st in 20:02, Richard O Gorman 66th in 20:25, Vincent McHugh 67th in 20:25, Pat Coffey 80th in 20:56, Neil Proven 84th in 21:01, John Perry 87th in 21:09, Anne Marie Halpin 88th in 21:09, Matthew Downey 99th in 21:33, Eamon English 100th in 21:33, Nicola Maunsell also ran very well when winning the over 45 award in 21:44, Billy Prout 118th in 22:00, Sheila Perry 130th in 22:22, Ned O Brien 137th in 22:31, Anna Byrne also ran very well when winning the over 50 award when finishing 149th in 22:53, Eddie Prendergast 162nd in 23:28, Julie Tideswell 192nd in 24:55, Cathy Mansfield 196th in 25:26, Noel Howley 203rd in 25:39, Layla Tideswell 244th in 26:36, Fred Perry 246th in 26:39. Jo Brett 249th in in 26:46, Myles McHugh still enjoying the Sport and running on home ground when finishing 260th in 27:10, Eamon Crowley 282nd in 27:43, Sasha Tideswell 322nd in 29:04 and Lorraine Kennedy 46:32.
