The final race of this year’s very successful Morrison BMW Cahir 6k series took place in ideal conditions last Wednesday night. David Mansfield was a very popular winner when coming home in a very good time of 19 mins 13 secs with Jimmy Boland running his fastest time this year over the course in 19 mins 25 secs and Nigel O Flaherty 3rd in 22 mins 25 secs. The top three women were 1st Angela McCann 23 mins 12 secs, 2nd Ali O Connor 25 mins 10 secs and 3rd was Suzanne Shine in 25 mins 31 secs.

The Club would also like to thank the Garda, Civil Defence an dour many stewards who ensured the whole series of races was a brilliant success. The Presentation of Awards was well attended in Mulcahy’s last week and teams are already planning for next year’s event.
