Dan O Keeffe competed in the Kerry Way Ultra event over the weekend. The event started and finished in Killarney and athletes had to compete over approx. 200 kms of trails, lanes, bogs and roads over mountains and hills that took in Glenbeigh, Sneem and Kenmare on route, a very demanding route. This did not deter Dan as he is familiar to this type of event and that experience stood to him as he produced a brilliant performance when completing the event in 36 hours 29 mins 33 secs, brilliant achievement.
