The Antrim Coast Half Marathon took place last Sunday morning in warm conditions. This event is held on a very flat and level route along the very scenic Antrim coast. Courtney McGuire making her half Marathon debut couldn’t have picked a better venue to test the waters over this Classic distance. Courtney was taking part in the mass start event and she ran the proverbial blinder going through halfway in 39 mins 43 secs and then on the homeward journey she ran a faster time of 38 mins 41 secs to finish in a fantastic time of 78 mins 24 secs. To cap it all off she was 2nd woman home, brilliant.
