The Kilkenny 5k road race took place recently and we had some very good performances. Alan Carter who has competed in this event a few times ran very well when finishing 72nd in 18 mins 37 sec. Ali O Connor making her debut in this event, made it a memorable one as she broke 20 mins for this classic distance when finishing 119th in 19 mins 49 secs.
