The National Junior and Under 23 Indoor Track and Field Championships took place in Abbottstown last weekend. In the Junior men’s 3000m Race walk the Club was represented by Sam O Sullivan. In a very competitive race Sam got the year off to a very good start when finishing 3rd in 14 mins 9.11 secs.

The final event of 2022 took place in Fermoy and it was great to see Club members finishing the year off with some very good performances. Nigel Flaherty made a very welcome return to running after a lengthy lay off, ran well when finishing 21st in 37 mins 18 secs. Then we had Angela McCann
