Tony O’Connell 4 Mile Road Race
Please find attached the Tony O Connell 4 Miler poster, the race take place on St Stephen’s Day. Also attached are last year’s results and as you can see this race cater for all levels of ability.
The race will start outside the Loreto Convent at 12 noon and will proceed down to Ferryhouse and back to Barlo Motors via the Waterford and David Road. We will be taking entries at the Vocational School, The Mall from 10.30 am onwards. Looking for parking, the free carpark close to the Gashouse Bridge is ideal.
We will have changing facilities and there will be refreshments in the gym after the race.
Last year we had 296 athletes competing and such a race required plenty of stewards so I appeal to any Club member that isn’t running to give us a helping hand for just one hour - 086 1660888 and can you let me know as soon as possible.
