Well done on tonight’s performances, despite the atrocious conditions it was great to see such a great entry, 63 competitors. It was great to see some more new faces. Due to the climatic conditions the race format was changed to a Luck Dip and the winners are highlighted, well done and I will have your prizes for you next week. Speaking of next week – it is race 7 of the Series and all monies received on the night will be donated to the Alzheimer’s Home Care. The format will be Lucky Dip, based on finishing positions and weather permitting we will present the Prizes on the Night. I would ask everyone to come along earlier than usual as we may well have a record entry; such is the interest in this race for such a worthy cause.

All Athletes will be grouped according to their best times and I will send out the starting times for each group during the week. The race will start at 6.55 pm for the first athlete, so please come along a bit early to make sure that you start in the right group. For all future Races Parking have to be more organised so we ask all athletes to come early and adhere to the stewards instruction.
Race number 7: - Alzheimer Society of Ireland - Home Care Service – Charity Run The November 18th 4k race will be a run in aid of a Special Charity that has a local focus and the Charity selected by the organising committee this year is the Alzheimer Society of Ireland - Home care services. The Home Care Service is a support service for people with Alzheimer’s disease and their carers and family members in the South Tipperary area. This service provides dementia care workers who are assigned to families offering care and support in the home, providing the carer with a welcome and often, desperately needed break from their caring role. So on November 18th all monies donated will be given to this very charitable cause. So anyone can come along on that night and walk the 4k course and help raise much needed funds for this cause.
